Founded in 1978 as Rossbro Developments, the company was later renamed Treviso Developments and continues to operate as a privately owned real estate firm. Beginning modestly with the construction of custom single-family homes, Treviso has since evolved into a fully integrated development company.

Shortly after its incorporation, the company expanded beyond residential projects into the commercial and industrial sectors, completing several developments in the Mississauga area.

During the early 1990s, the company became one of the most active firms in the non-profit housing sector, delivering numerous projects for the Ministry of Housing.

The company then entered the seniors housing market. Its first development Villa Giardino, was among the earliest condominiums built in Vaughan — and the first designed specifically for independent senior living. This was followed by Villa Giardino Maple a four-building, 350-unit complex in Maple and later by The Residences of Springhill in King City.

Today, Treviso maintains a diverse portfolio of projects spanning multiple asset classes throughout Ontario.
